Privacy Policy

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy covers the website at https://www.saudiutilityhub.com/ — its pages, calculators, and guides. It does not cover any other website you may reach by clicking an outbound link, including official government sites such as Absher, Muqeem, Qiwa, GOSI, or HRSD, or general links to Google's own services. This policy was last updated 28 July 2026, reflecting the technical state of the site at that time.

2. Who Operates This Site

Saudi Utility Hub is independently operated. It is not a Saudi government service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for GOSI, HRSD, MOI, Jawazat, Absher, Muqeem, or Qiwa.

3. Contact Information

Email: info@saudiutilityhub.com. This is currently the only published contact method for this site — see our Contact page for what to include in a message and what never to send.

4. Information Processed When Visiting the Site

Saudi Utility Hub does not require an account, login, or registration to use any calculator or guide. Ordinary web browsing generates some technical information as a byproduct of how the internet works — see Section 5 for what the hosting infrastructure may see. Beyond that, the pages themselves do not collect information about you unless you choose to email us (Section 8) or enter values into a calculator that runs in your own browser (Section 6).

5. Hosting and Technical Logs

This site is hosted on Vercel. As with any web host, ordinary technical information is processed automatically as part of serving each page request, which may include:

• Your IP address
• The URL you requested
• Date and time of the request
• Browser or user-agent information
• Response and error information
• Security or abuse-prevention signals

These infrastructure-level logs are retained according to Vercel's standard hosting practices rather than a custom retention period we set ourselves. Separately, this site does not use Vercel Web Analytics or any other analytics product — see Section 10.

6. Calculator and Worksheet Inputs

We reviewed the calculators and interactive worksheets on this site as part of this update. Based on that review:

• Calculator inputs (such as a salary figure, a date, or a checklist answer) are processed in your own browser using JavaScript.
• This site does not intentionally transmit those values to Saudi Utility Hub or to any server.
• This site does not maintain user accounts or store calculator results in any database.
• Refreshing or closing a page normally clears whatever you typed, because the values live only in the page's memory while it is open.
• You should avoid entering identity numbers (such as an Iqama or passport number), passwords, or other secrets into any calculator — even though this site does not collect them, it is a good general habit, and some fields exist only to let you record a figure you already have from an official source.

No calculator or worksheet on this site writes calculator input values to localStorage, sessionStorage, cookies, or any external request. A small number of pages contain text in their own FAQ sections making the same point about a specific tool.

7. Locally Generated PDF Files

Some pages (currently the final settlement worksheet, the annual leave calculator, and the family residence preparation guide) offer a button to generate a PDF summary of what you entered. This uses a JavaScript library called jsPDF, which is now loaded from a local copy hosted on this site rather than from a third-party content-delivery network. PDF generation happens entirely in your browser; the library does not intentionally upload the values you entered anywhere. Once the PDF is downloaded to your device, its security and further handling are outside this site's control — we do not guarantee the security of any file after it reaches your computer or phone.

8. Email Communications

If you email info@saudiutilityhub.com:

• You choose what information to include in your message.
• Your email address, the message content, associated metadata, and any attachments may be processed by the email service that handles this inbox. We have not independently confirmed and are not naming a specific email provider in this policy.
• Messages may be kept for as long as needed to correspond with you, investigate a correction, maintain security, or keep reasonable records — we do not state one fixed retention period for email, because this depends on the nature of the message and has not been formally set as a documented policy.
• We do not claim email is encrypted end-to-end. Treat ordinary email as we would treat any other unencrypted communication channel.

9. Cookies and Browser Storage

As currently built, this site does not intentionally set advertising or analytics cookies. There is no cookie-consent banner shown on any page, because there are currently no optional advertising or analytics tags active that would require one — showing a banner with nothing behind it would be misleading, so we removed it rather than keep it for appearance. Basic calculator operation does not require any cookie.

We do not claim this site uses no cookies or storage under any circumstances — browser behavior, hosting infrastructure, or any site you click through to may set their own cookies or storage outside our control, and this could change if a future version of the site adds a service that needs one (see Section 21).

10. Analytics Status

Google Analytics is not active in the current website code. No replacement analytics product (such as Plausible, Matomo, or Vercel Web Analytics) has been added in its place. If analytics is introduced in a future version of this site, this policy will be updated first to describe what is collected and why.

11. Advertising and AdSense Status

Saudi Utility Hub intends to display advertising through Google AdSense. As of this update:

• Advertisements are not currently served on this site — no AdSense script and no ad slot is present on any page.
• The site's ads.txt file and a publisher-account meta tag on the homepage identify the Google AdSense publisher account this site intends to use to connect and verify the site with Google. On their own, these do not display advertisements or load any advertising script.
• AdSense advertising code will not be activated until the site is approved and a certified consent-management setup is configured and tested (see Section 21).
• Once advertising is active, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technology to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and manage the ads you see across the web at Google Ad Settings.
• This Privacy Policy will be updated again to name the specific advertising vendors, purposes, and choices in place before any advertising is activated.

12. Third-Party and Official External Links

This site links to official Saudi government resources (such as Absher, Muqeem, Qiwa, GOSI, HRSD, and my.gov.sa) and other external references. Clicking one of these links takes you to that organization's own website, which has its own privacy practices outside our control. Displaying a normal link to an external site does not itself send your calculator inputs, checklist answers, or any other data to that destination — the link only activates if and when you click it.

13. Service Providers

We have not documented a confirmed, current list of third-party service providers for this site beyond the hosting arrangement described in Section 5 and the email handling described in Section 8. If a specific provider (such as a hosting company, email service, or future consent-management platform) is confirmed, this section will be updated to name it and describe its role.

14. International or Cross-Border Processing

Because hosting and email infrastructure can operate from data centers in different countries, information described in Sections 5 and 8 may be processed outside Saudi Arabia. We have not independently confirmed specific server locations for this review. If you are in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, cross-border processing of personal data can raise questions under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) — see Section 15 for what this means and what still needs qualified review.

15. Retention

Retention is not the same for every kind of information this policy discusses:

• In-memory calculator values — cleared automatically when you refresh or close the page; not stored by us at all.
• Downloaded PDF files — stored on your own device once you save them; retention is entirely up to you.
• Hosting/security logs — retained according to Vercel's standard infrastructure logging practices; we do not set a separate custom retention period for this data.
• Email correspondence — kept as needed for correspondence, correction review, security, and reasonable recordkeeping; no single fixed period has been documented.
• Future consent records — do not yet exist, because no consent-management platform is active (see Section 21).

We are not inventing a single retention period to cover all of the above, because it would not be accurate.

16. Security Limitations

We do not claim "industry-standard security" or guarantee that any information is fully protected. What we can point to are a few structural choices that reduce risk by minimizing what this site collects in the first place:

• No user accounts or login system
• No contact form on this site — the only contact route is a plain mailto: link
• Calculators run in your browser rather than on a server
• No active Analytics or advertising tracking tags at this stage
• The PDF-generation library is hosted locally rather than loaded from a third-party CDN

Internet transmission and email cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure, no matter what precautions are taken. Treat any information you send to us the same way you would treat any other unencrypted message.

17. Privacy Choices and Possible Legal Rights

Depending on the law applicable to you and to Saudi Utility Hub, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or complaint regarding your personal data. We do not claim that the Saudi PDPL, the EU/UK GDPR, US state privacy laws, or any other specific privacy law applies to every visitor of this site, and we do not claim compliance with all privacy laws everywhere.

To ask about your information or exercise a right you believe applies to you, email info@saudiutilityhub.com with the subject "Privacy request" and describe what you're asking for. We aim to respond within 30 days. We will not ask for more identity documentation than is reasonably necessary to respond to your request.

18. Children's Information

This site is intended for general adult informational use and does not require children to create an account (no accounts exist on this site at all). We do not have a reliable way to verify a visitor's age, so we do not claim we can determine whether a visitor is a child. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has sent us sensitive information by email, please do not send that information in the first place, and contact us so we can address it.

19. Policy Changes

We may update this policy as the site's technical setup or legal understanding changes — most notably before any future AdSense activation (see Section 21). The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We do not maintain a version history publicly at this time.
