Who Writes and Reviews This Site

Everything on Saudi Utility Hub is produced by the Saudi Utility Hub Editorial Team — a small independent group that builds and maintains calculators and plain-language guides for two subjects: Saudi employment, payroll and HR, and Iqama, visa and residency procedures. We deliberately publish under a team byline rather than inventing personal author profiles or credentials we cannot evidence. Where a page states a rule, that rule is traceable to a published Saudi source linked on the page itself.

The team is contactable at info@saudiutilityhub.com. Content decisions, corrections and takedown or accuracy complaints are handled by the same team — there is no third-party content agency involved and no syndicated or automatically republished articles on this site.

Official Sources We Build From

No figure on this site is invented or copied from another blog. Each rule is taken from the body that sets it:

Where a source is ambiguous or two official pages disagree, we say so on the page rather than quietly picking one. Results are shown as estimates for planning, never as an official determination.

How a Page Is Produced

  1. Rule extraction — the relevant article, rate table or fee schedule is read at the official source and the calculation logic written from it.
  2. Worked example — the logic is tested against at least one realistic end-to-end example with dates and amounts, published on the page so readers can verify the maths themselves.
  3. Plain-language write-up — the guide, edge cases and FAQs are written for someone reading in a second language, without legal jargon.
  4. Source linking — the official reference is linked, and the page is dated with its last-reviewed date.
  5. Recheck — the page returns to the review queue on its schedule below.

Review Schedule

The date shown at the foot of each page is the date that page was last checked against its official source — not the date the site was last edited.

Corrections Policy

If you believe a number or a procedural step on this site is wrong, email info@saudiutilityhub.com with the page address and what you think the correct figure is. We check the claim against the official source. If the page is wrong we correct it, update the last-reviewed date, and where the error could have changed someone's decision we note the correction on the page. If the page is right, we reply explaining the source it is based on.

Independence, Advertising and Money

Saudi Utility Hub is free to use and is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. Advertising is kept separate from content: advertisers have no input into which tools exist, what a calculator returns, or what a guide says, and no page on this site is paid placement. We do not accept payment to change a result, remove a caveat, or promote an employer, recruiter or immigration agent. Cookies used for advertising are explained in our Privacy Policy, and every visitor is shown a cookie choice on their first visit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who writes the content on Saudi Utility Hub?

All tools and guides are written and maintained by the Saudi Utility Hub Editorial Team, a small independent group working on Saudi payroll, employment and Iqama/visa procedures. We publish under a team byline rather than invented personal profiles, and the team is reachable at info@saudiutilityhub.com.

What sources are the calculators based on?

Every calculation rule comes from a published Saudi source: the Saudi Labour Law and HRSD, GOSI contribution rules, Absher and Muqeem service pages, Qiwa, and MOI fee schedules. Each page links the source it relies on.

How often is the content reviewed?

Each page carries its own last-reviewed date. Rate-sensitive pages are rechecked whenever a change takes effect or is announced; all other pages are reviewed at least twice a year.

How do I report an error?

Email info@saudiutilityhub.com with the page address and the figure you believe is wrong. We check it against the official source, correct the page if needed, and update its last-reviewed date.

Is Saudi Utility Hub an official government service?

No. The site is independently operated and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any Saudi government entity. Results are unofficial estimates for planning.

Last reviewed and updated: · Reviewed against official Saudi government sources (HRSD, GOSI, Absher, Muqeem, MOI).
